SCHOOL SONG

Here's to dear ole Houston,
She's tried and true,
Gladly we'll back her,
In what she may do.
See, the foe is trembling
Trembling with fear,
Push! Pull! for Houston,
With cheer on cheer.

Our old school song is played to portions of the famous march "Our Director" composed by F.E. Bigelow (1873-1929) and published in 1895. This can be viewed HERE

 ALUMNI  NEWS

The HHS Alumni Association's meetings  are held the 4th Monday night of each month, (excluding May and December), at 7 p.m. in the library of the First Baptist Church.

Click for alumni's website

The alumni association has annual membership dues of $5.00 .  This money goes toward postage and mailing of the newsletters. There will be a yearly (July) mailing of the newsletter.

If you haven't taken part in the HHSAA in the past, or if you have, and your interest has waned, now would be the time to join in.  The Association is planning a lot of changes for the upcoming year to pique more interest in the activities, and would love hearing new ideas and suggestions. The board and members listen and weigh each suggestion made. There has been good attendance at the last 2 meetings, with a lot of good ideas presented. I will use the HOME PAGE for updates , but plan to use the link SCHOLARSHIP PROPOSAL  on the left side of page for more detailed information as I learn of it.
